The beads are beautiful NATURAL BLUE CHALCEDONY (9 mm). The Paters are made
with a combination of HAND PAINTED 18 K CLOISSONE BEADS (10 mm) FROM
ITALY and solid STERLING SILVER rounds.
This gemstones are wrapped in a very thick (22 gauge) .925 sterling silver wire.
These chalcedony beads are of an exceptional quality that is hard to come by. This gemstone is
semitransparent or translucent with a solid pale bluish-gray color. The luster is exceptional also.
The ANTIQUE MISSIONARY CRUCIFIX (2.75 in.) was a souvenir crucifix from a holy
site believed to come from the 1800's Europe (solid silver)
The Center is a Beautiful SOLID SILVER Open Work EUCHARIST CENTER from the 1900's or
earlier (Europe) A wreath of grapes and wheat reach up from the base of the cross to the arms.
The chalice and host are surrounded by rays of light, creating a powerful design.
The STERLING SILVER MEDAL above the crucifix is from Latin America or "New Spain" dated 18c.
It depict Mary with child Jesus. Note the halo over Mary's head! It becomes part of the filigree work
as if feeding around her!
